What We Do?
Since 2007 we have established successful, informal science learning programs for Native American youth in northern Wisconsin. In 2011, we combined the successful Tribal Youth Meida program with an equally successful Global Health Field Course at the Bad River Indian Reservation.
Where We Work
The program began at the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribal College in the summer of 2007. But the work and inspiration began much earlier in the Life Sciences Communication department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Partnerships
We have enjoyed partnerships with the Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission, tribal conservation departments and colleges. Most recently, we partnered with the College of Ag and Life Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
