Actor Leonardo DiCaprio has a new full length film
called "The Eleventh Hour". This video is narrated by
DiCaprio and is a nice summary of the facts that drove
him to make the film, especially his calls to action that
may help to reverse the dangers of climate change.
"Pole to Pole" was featured at this year's Green Awards in London. The film is incredibly powerful and, without any narration, it is a great example of the power of the right music with the right clip and their combined ability to convey a message.
The American Association for the Advancement of
science recently published this 12 minute video. Most
compelling is the segment about the Alaskan Native
village that is being heavily impacted by the loss of
ice. From a loss of lifestyle to the physical threats
from storm surge, the loss of ice is catastrophic to some
indigenous communities.

A middle school-aged girl from Britain made this
incredibly well-done documentary in which she asks
herself and her community some very difficult but
important questions. Called "Melt", there is plenty here
for someone interested in what CAN be done to slow
climate change as well as anyone interested in good youth
filmmaking.
